WGXC Live: Electric Kitchen, Echonaut (Audio)
Jun 27, 2019
Electric Kitchen performs live experimental electronic music from dub-techno to beat-ambient. Echonaut opens the show. Tune in to a live webcast at wgxc.org/listen or on the air at 90.7-FM.
Electric Kitchen is an electronic music project focusing on timbre and rhythm. Most works are conceived for live improvisational performance, aiming to take the audience on a journey rather than stick to a genre. Project leader Mark Lentczner works with a wide range of electronics from analog synths, to digital samplers, controllers, and computers with his own software. Co-founder Paul Buser will return to the project for the Summer 2019 tour bringing his fusion of harmonic and timbral ideas on keyboard. Echonaut will play an opening set. Bob Brass has been a techno and experimental ambient producer since the 80s. Most of his work has been focused on live performances. Tune in a live webstream at wgxc.org/listen or hear the show on the radio at 90.7-FM.
