Wave Farm's WGXC is pleased to broadcast this performance of a selection of Problem Guitars by Melissa Auf der Maur, Arone Dyer, Rebecca Ruth Borrer, and Matt Norman presented in conjunction with "To Be Of Use," a solo exhibition by David Shrigley in the Newmark Gallery at Art Omi. The performance is part of Art Omi's Summer Season Opening on Saturday, May 25, commemorating the installation of new work in the Sculpture & Architecture Park.

"David Shrigley: To Be Of Use" showcases practical objects, each with a twist that undermines its anticipated function. Among the objects are selections from a series called Problem Guitars, each of which can be played, but in an altered capacity. On May 25, accomplished musicians: Melissa Auf der Maur, Arone Dyer, Rebecca Ruth Borrer, and Matt Norman will perform a new composition, created using these one-of-a-kind instruments especially for the exhibition's opening.
