An interview Marlene Aguilera, immigrant from Honduras, and Norma Marcos, immigrant from Guatemala, two of the leaders of the Kinship Program (formerly known as Proyecto Madres) based in Dover Plains. They also speak with Nieves Melchor, one of the organizers of the Parade of Lights in Millbrook, Dec. 5 and 6. Hispanics will be represented in that event this year for the first time, with a float carrying the Virgen de Guadalupe and a Mariachi band.
