In the first hour, David Smith, founder and Artistic Director of Concerts in the Village in Kinderhook will discuss the Broad Street Chorale and Orchestra's upcoming performance of Bach's Mass in B minor. Hosts George Spencer and Pauline Decarmo will discuss with Smith the art of conducting and the details of organizing such an event. Smith will also read a section of Episode 8, Lestrygonians, from James Joyce’s "Ulysses." In the second hour, Hudson-based watercolorist Gretchen Kelly will talk about her development as an artist, experience as a designer and current art practice.
