During the first hour of this broadcast, host Sam Sebren digs into more sounds by drummer, percussionist, and multi-instrumentalist Michael Evans (1957 to 2021). Listeners will hear Evans’ work with the Fulmination Trio, EasSide Percussion, Mia Dyberg, Michael Gira, Splotch, and with Ron Anderson, Chris Cochrane, and Brian Chase. In the second hour Sebren presents works from Joseph Nechvatal’s newly released cassette on Pentiments, “Selected Sound Works (1981-2021)”, plus “How To Make A Happening” by Allan Kaprow, Les Deux Filles, The Ex, Wasted Youth, Radio Shack answering machine messages, Idiot Orchestra, Fabulous Poodles, Sleep, and more.

Sounds across the sonic spectrum, blurring genres and focusing on under- and unrecognized artists working in experimental territories. The show will include interviews with guest composers and feature live performances and collaborations.
