In the 5 p.m. hour tune-in for a special edit of Building Radio Bridges – Audio Letters between Lockdown NYC and the Zambezi Valley a collaborative exchange by Brooklyn College students at the City University of New York – members of Sinazongwe Community Radio Station Zongwe FM in Sinazongwe, Zambia – members of the women’s organisation Zubo Trust in Binga, Zimbabwe; via Tom Miller aka Sonic Anthropology and Claudia Wegener aka Radio Continental Drift (rcd), originally co-produced during Coronavirus Lockdown May – July 2020. The show is a place for a community conversation about issues, with music, and more. Saturday the emphasis is more on radio art, and art on the radio.
