Kate works in fiber arts with scale, form and function. Hamilton learned to sew at a young age and went on to study at F.I.T. in New York and Brown University in Providence, RI. Her kinetic sculpture has been installed in many museums, galleries, and alternative spaces throughout the country. The artist also creates costumes and sets for international art performances and festivals. She and host George Spencer talk about the relationship between her work and her life and whatever else comes up. arts, etc., is a monthly broadcast featuring conversations with creative types and other diversions. Spencer is a visual artist, filmmaker and writer.
