In the first hour, an interview with award-winning novelist and architect Yewande Omotoso. The interview was recorded on April 17, 2017 at OMI International Arts Center in Ghent, NY, where Ms. Omotoso was a writer-in-residence. In the second hour, live interview with Grace Bonner and Irene Mitchell, two poets who will participate in "Here Now: A Reading of Poetry and Prose", hosted by Karen Schoemer, on July 28 at Magpie Bookshop in Catskill. The WGXC Afternoon Show features local news, interviews with community leaders and personalities, a rundown of local and regional events, weather updates, and more, about and for the community.
