In this broadcast, Rob Gelles talks with Columbia County resident Alan Skerrett. Skerrett retired from the Office of Mental Health after 33 years of service in a variety of direct care and administrative positions. He is a local photographer and has lived in Columbia County for more than 25 years. Skerrett spoke with Gelles at the WGXC Hudson Studio on April 3, 2019, as part of the monthly series, "Rob Around the County." In the second hour, photographer David McCabe will be to discuss an exhibition of his work scheduled to open May 4, at the Broderick Fine Art Gallery at Ruby's Hotel in Freehold. McCabe is best known for his photo documentation of a year in the life of artist Andy Warhol. The show features local news, interviews with community leaders and personalities, a rundown of local and regional events, weather updates, and more about and for the community.
