Don Byrd is a poet and sound artist who taught at SUNY-Albany for many decades. His books include The Great Dimestore Centennial, Charles Olson's Maximus, and The Poetics of the Common Knowledge.

Blending words and sounds, bringing to the airwaves live performances as well as field and studio recordings by writers the host has crossed paths with over the course of a quarter century.
