Key elections are coming up in the beleaguered island nation of Haiti on Sunday Oct 25th for President as well as for Haiti's legislature. The present government, opposed by most impoverished Haitians but backed by the US is trying to hold on to power. The US and the OAS backed the August elections despite the documented electoral problems. Secretary of State John Kerry visited Haiti last week.
