Social Graces
Social Graces aired on WGXC from December 2011 to July 2014.
An etiquette show with certified etiquette instructor, Nan Marron.
"I am a certified etiquette instructor. I received my training in Atlanta, Georgia. I had my own business in Orange county, My shop was on Main street in Cornwall, NY. I taught from ages 5 to 95. I taught many students from McQuades, brownie troops, judges and their families. I offered private and group lessons. Most classes were in my shop although on the last lesson we would go out to a nice restaurant for a formal dinner.
For my McQuades students, we would have a ceremony and the students were given a certificate of completion of the program. McQuades is a home for wayward kids, or kids that were taken out of their homes for various reason, concerning their parents. I also taught at children's summer camps where I traveled to the camp itself.
That's the story. I am now embarking on a new plan. I will be working with a modeling agency. The owner wants to incorporate etiquette into her program. My business was called, The New York School of Social Graces. Hence the name for the show, Social Graces.
