Hosted by Kieran Riley (Monday); Randall Martin, Kim Singletary (1st, 3rd Tuesday); Randall Martin (2nd, 4th Tuesday); a rotating collection of hosts (Wednesday); Tom DePietro, Selha Graham (Thursday); Tom Roe (Friday, Saturday); Azouke Legba, Carline Murphy (Sunday).

In the first hour of the broadcast, host Tom Roe will speak with Andy French of the daily music review site, Raven Sings the Blues, about Deep in the Valley, a day of music, August 20, encompassing psych, jazz, experimental, improv, folk, country and indie at From the Ground Brewery in Red Hook. French is the host of Crawl Out From the Fallout, heard on WGXC at 8 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month. In the second hour, WOOC correspondent Corinne Carey caught up with Congressman Paul Tonko to talk to him about the challenge he faces from Rostislav Rar in the primary election that concludes August 23. Tonko addressed some of the most pressing questions facing Democrats in the upcoming election, as well as his thoughts on the relocation of Saratoga Sites residents who are living in the shadow of the Norlite incineration plant. And also tune in for an interview with Kurt Andernach from And-Hof Animals, Sanctuary for Farm Animals and Permaculture, a community-based nonprofit dedicated to the recovery and advocacy for abused and neglected farm animals in Catskill. Andernach will discuss the upcoming Open Farm Day to be held at the sanctuary on August 27.

The show features local news, interviews with community leaders and personalities, a rundown of local and regional events, weather updates, and more about and for the community. The show is a place for a community conversation about issues, with music, and more. Saturday the emphasis is more on radio art, and art on the radio. Unlike shows by individual programmers on the station, the "WGXC Afternoon Show" is considered partially station-run. The Sunday version calls itself "Li Le, Le Tan."
