Eric Erlandson, the co-founder and former guitar player for the band Hole, will be live in the WGXC studios to discuss his new book "Letters to Kurt." Structured as a series of surrealist "letters," the book is a tribute and elegy to Kurt Cobain. Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth says, "This poetic elegy illuminates Erlandson as the spirit boy in the Hole-Nirvana dynamic." Erlandson lives in Los Angeles. He will appear at the Basilica in Hudson 6 p.m., April 8 to read from the book and perform in a partial musical reunion of Hole, featuring former bassist Melissa Auf Der Maur and drummer Patty Schemel.
