Hosted by George Spencer.

In this, the premiere broadcast of arte4a, host George Spencer speaks with Jeffrey Lependorf, Executive Director of the Flow Chart Foundation in Hudson, and Erin Sickler, Gallery Manager of the Esther Massry Gallery at the College of St Rose in Albany. Lependorf will talk about the activities of the Flow Chart Foundation which is the depository for an enormous trove of material relating to the life and work of poet John Ashbery. Sickler will discuss her activities managing galleries and curating exhibitions. Plus a conversation about the economic forces that play a large role in the art world, Occupy Wall Street, and other efforts to counterbalance that power.

Monthly conversations with creative types and other diversions. Creativity should be recognized and honored wherever it is found, not just in museums, galleries and international auction houses. This program is dedicated to these under-appreciated people who are making a major contribution toward a more peaceful world. Host George Spencer is a visual artist, writer, and filmmaker.
