There's some debate over when punk rock became post-punk. But the primal urgency of artists like Buzzcocks, Ramones , Sex Pistols, and Patti Smith mark them as founders of a genre. Yet there are precursors..... On "Playing Favorites," formerly called "The Morning Sampler," host Brendan Donegan plays an eclectic mix of old and new blues, electronica, pop, RnB, country, Latin, rock, rap, and a bit of classical music live from WGXC's Catskill studio.
