Bossa Brasil presents a weekly showcase of the wide and infectious varieties of A música do Brasil, from Samba and Chôro to MPB, Forró, Frevo, Jazz, Soul Samba, experimental and more, including the occasional historic example from the Age of Radio (1930s-1950s), up to the newest just-released. Covers the Lusophonic soundscape including Cape Verde, Mozambique, Angola and occasional tributes from Brasilophiles on every continent; whether the music is directly or indirectly from Brazil, its soul will always reflect that spirit.

Bossa Brasil was originally produced by WPVM 103.7 Asheville and airs on WGXC through the Pacifica Network, a global community of local programming.
