Hosted by Tom Roe.

During the 5 p.m. hour, tune into the first-ever Hudson edition of Unsilent Night, a community musical parade composed by Phil Kline. Participants walk together as Kline’s original four-part composition plays from personal devices, creating a unique and luminous soundscape. Kline himself will conduct this event, meeting revelers at Basilica Hudson at 4 p.m. for prep. Participants will be assigned their parts to play through their own portable sound system before proceeding to Front and Warren streets for step off. The parade ends at Seventh Street Park.

Unsilent Night is presented by the Hudson Opera House in partnership with Wave Farm. It will be broadcast live on Wave Farm's WGXC 90.7-FM in New York's Upper Hudson Valley and streamed online at wgxc.org. More information at: http://hudsonoperahouse.org/2016/06/01/winter-walk/

Saturday afternoons on WGXC feature Wave Farm Artists-in-Residence, and special guests, who are interviewed on-air, present past and future projects, as well as perform live. For more information on the Wave Farm Residency Program, visit transmissionarts.org/residencies
