Why "slow?" When people look slowly at a piece of art they make discoveries. The Slow Art Day mission is to: help more people learn how to look at, and love art in their communities. At Omi, viewers will look at five pieces of contemporary sculpture in The Fields Sculpture Park and gather to discuss them over a meal at Café Omi prepared by a guest chef from the Sylvia Center.
