Architect, activist, and farmer Tara Rodiguez Besosa's installation and resource center introduces the public to OtraCosa, an off-grid do-it-yourself queer homestead in the rural, mountainous community of San Salvador, Puerto Rico. For the past year, Besosa has been mapping and cataloging the species and food systems of OtraCosa, creating a decolonized, living manuscript of the different human and non-human exchanges that provide nourishment, healing, and life. Throughout the festival, Besosa will guide audiences through the installation and its manuscript, to explore the principles and practices of OtraCosa and those who steward its land.
