Presented in conjunction with the Hudson Children’s Book Festival, Today’s Journals Are Tomorrow’s Literature: Using Your Journal to Write, Organize and Polish Great Stories. a special presentation from Newbery Award-winning author Jack Gantos. An in-depth look on how to set up a journal, map out and brainstorm ideas, and then pull ideas from the journal to work into a short story plus elements of storytelling such as character development, problem/solution, and the importance of double-endings of both physical and emotional plots. This event will be broadcast live on WGXC-FM.
