Hudson resident Debby Mayer reads from her memoir, "Riptides & Solaces Unforeseen." The book is about a journey through brain cancer, the medical industry and human emotions. Mayer is an author, journalist and blogger. She is currently a contributing editor at "The Columbia Paper."
