Young people ages 8 to 13 years old are invited to participate in an excellent winter forest adventure during the holiday break from school. Each day will begin with a brisk walk in the Siuslaw Model Forest to investigate tracks, scat and other signs of wildlife and to explore the sights and sounds of winter. We’ll then return to the Agroforestry Resource Center to work on creating a production about the long days and short nights of winter with Soup 2 Nuts Theater Co. On Friday we will perform our play next to a warm fire at the lean-to at the Siuslaw Model Forest. This performance will be recorded so that it can be played on the “Living Lightly on the Land Radio Hour” on WGXC 90.7 FM – Hands-On Community Radio Station!
