The Preliminary Budget of the Town of Taghkanic for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2012, has been completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk located at 483 County Route 15, Taghkanic, New York, where it is available for inspection by all interested persons during the regular hours of the Town Clerk. Pursuant to Section 108 of the Town Law, the proposed salaries of the following town officials are hereby specified as follows: Supervisor $ 5,500.00 Town Justice 2@ $ 7,883.00 Town Clerk/Collector $25,820.00 Hwy Superintendent $47,750.00 The Town Board of the Town of Taghkanic holds a public hearing, at the Town Hall, located at 909 Route 82, Taghkanic, New York, at 6:30 p.m. on the 18 day of November 2011 and at such hearing any person may be heard in favor of or against the Preliminary Budget as complied for or against any item or items therein contained.
