The GCCA is sponsoring thirteen experimental projects offering audiences new ways to think about and experience this protected landscape, integral to the Hudson River School of Painting, NYC's water supply and our county's tourism. Way beyond traditional plein air painting, these artists have found ways to transform the Catskill Park’s many personalities into surprising art forms including photographs, paintings, sculpture, video, bookworks and installations by Jim Holl, Tasha Depp, Peter Grass, Wendy Doney, Joseph Tripi, Susan Sammis, Stuart Friedman, David Hebb, Patti Ferrara, Heather Blossom Brown, Kim Jaye Truitt, Elizabeth Vermilyea, and Art Murphy. Open M-F, 10-5, Sat, 12-5, 2nd and 3rd Saturdays 12-8. Opening Reception, Saturday October 16 from 5-7 p.m.
