A staged reading of “Graven Image,” a new play by Stephen Kilduff, presented by HRC Showcase Theatre at TSL 434 Columbia St., Hudson. In "Graven Image," a three-person drama starring James Occhino of Ghent, an older man hires a young woman housepainter and becomes invigorated by her presence and friendship. His daughter is suspicious of the painter and of the sculptures her father begins making under the painter's guidance. When the family's history is revealed to the painter, all three of them must confront truths they have been hiding from themselves and each other.
