Diamond Opera Theater and HOH present a free performance by Lyric Coloratura Soprano Michelle Trovato. This performance is a celebration of shared Polish-Italian heritage expressed through song. Composers featured on the program include Chopin, Szymanowski, Scarlatti, Respighi and others. Also featured is a piece entitled "Coloratura" that was composed especially for her by Paul Vasile. The text is by Nobel Laureate Wislawa Szymborska. DOT Artistic Director Mary Deyerle Hack will lead an open discussion with the audience and singer after the performance.
