The Athens Cultural Center presents the first installment of a new film series featuring distinguished local filmmakers presenting and discussing their films. The First screening, "Falling Like This" (2001, 91 minutes, rated PG-13) is a drama set in 1980s California about a pair of star-crossed lovers in the style of "Rebel Without a Cause." Winner of the Best Feature Award at the Hampton's, Florida, and Slamdance Film Festivals. Music by Ani DiFranco. Director Dani Minnick will introduce the film and host a Q&A following the screening.
