Calligrapher Alane Gianetti hosts an Intro to Modern Calligraphy workshop on June 3 at Drop Forge & Tool. This 3-hour workshop will provide you with the tools and techniques needed to get started in pointed-pen calligraphy. Whether you're an absolute beginner or have recently started your calligraphy journey and would like some one-on-one tips and techniques, Alane will introduce you to the tools of the trade, will walk you through the basic strokes and build up to the full alphabet, and will help you start to develop your own writing style.
