The Thomas Cole National Historic Site is currently seeking volunteers to conduct tours of the site from May through October. The site is also recruiting guides for its hiking program on the Hudson River School Art Trail. Come to an open house with behind-the-scenes tours, an opportunity to meet other volunteers and ask questions about becoming a volunteer. The open house will be followed by a lecture by Christopher Philips, "What Made Cole Epic?" The lecture is offered as part of the Cole site’s Sunday Salon series. Reservations are required for participation in the open house.
