A new nonfiction book group focuses on North American history, social and political life. The group will read and discuss nonfiction books chosen by the participants to explore topical issues. The group will meet on the third Thursday of the month beginning January 18. Mark Orton will serve as moderator. The January book is The Warmth of Other Suns: The Epic Story of America's Great Migration by Isabel Wilkerson.
