The first annual Hudson Jazz Festival begins with a performance by The Ara Dinkjian Quartet, featuring Ismail Lumanovski, an instrumental collaboration rooted in Turkish, Armenian and Macedonian Roma music headed by oud player Ara Dinkjian. Jazz pianist and festival curator Armen Donelian supports the quartet with a solo performance of Armenian-inspired selections.
