On Saturday, January 14 @ 6pm the Hudson Area Library will host the opening reception of People of the Civil Rights Era Seen in Photographs by Jim Peppler. This exhibit features photographs Mr. Peppler took while reporting for The Southern Courier, a non-profit weekly Civil Rights newspaper serving Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia from 1965-1968. There will be time for questions and a reception will follow. The event is free and open to the public and will be held in the library’s Community Room, which is wheelchair accessible.
