The Greene County Music Educators Association will host its annual Fall All-County Festival on Wednesday, November 2 and Friday, November 4 at the Cairo-Durham Middle/High School campus. Two hundred and fifty talented music students from all Greene County schools have rehearsed challenging pieces over the weeks leading up to the festival. The four student performing groups will come together for a final day of practice on Wednesday and then perform a concert showcasing their exceptional musical abilities Friday night. Robert Freeberg of New Rochelle High School will lead the Senior Jazz Ensemble. The Senior Chorus conductor will be Michael Lister, a professor from the College of St. Rose. Dan Chouiniere from North Colonie will conduct the Junior Band, and Leslie Lopez from Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk will conduct the Elementary Chorus.
