The Friends of the Kinderhook Memorial Library will host a panel discussion on Lyme disease with a question and answer period to follow. Participants on the panel will include: Dr. Ananthakrishnan Ramani, the head of Columbia County Lyme Disease Task Force; Holly Ahern, Microbiologist and Associate Professor of Microbiology at SUNY Adirondack; Rick Burstell, Program Educator, Columbia-Greene Cornell Cooperative Extension Services; and William Shwarz, a patient advocate with Lyme disease. All those with questions about Lyme disease, or those who experience with the disease are encouraged to attend.
