Become a volunteer. No previous teaching experience is necessary. All you need is a love of reading, and a desire to share the gift of literacy. New volunteers are required to attend a free orientation session, and complete the online training. Trained volunteers are provided ongoing support as they work with students and classes. This is out next Orientation Session with a follow-up session Tuesday, February 26 2019, from 6–8 p.m. at the same location. At the Orientation session you will learn about Literacy Connections, tutoring and other volunteer opportunities.
