In honor of Women’s History Month, CREATE Council On The Arts' annual showcase of women artists on two floors of gallery space. “What We Hold: Stories + Objects” reflects the diverse creativity and experience of over 70 regional women artists.

Guest speakers include Tanya Jackson (documentarian), Prof. Haywood Horton, Pastor Kim Singletary, and Supervisor Randall Martin.

Starting Thursday, February 13th, we will be holding our six-week Dragon's Way Qigong class for Spring in Chatham, NY.

Over our six classes, you will learn and practice 10 ancient movements with a certified instructor in the lineage of Grand Master Nan Lu. Qi is your life-force, your energy, and these 10 movements will help improve Qi flow, balance, flexibility, and overall wellness. What makes our classes different from most is that you also will learn about the Five Element Framework, how you can add to your Qi, and how you can stop draining your Qi on your journey to self-healing. This work can help address chronic pain and joint stiffness, poor digestion, weight loss, headaches, stress and anxiety, sleep disorders, arthritis, and overall fatigue.

This Spring, you can choose to attend the classes on Thursday mornings at The Morris Memorial @ 9:15 am to 10:30 am. or on Thursday evenings at St. James Church Hall @ 6:15 pm to 7: 30 pm, both in Chatham.

Turn out for Community Soup Night at Left Bank Ciders to support Wave Farm's WGXC 90.7-FM! There will be soups, a live on-site broadcast of the "WGXC Afternoon Show" hosted by Selha Graham and Tom DePietro, and DJ sets by WGXC Volunteer Programmers Yeshi (NORMLRadio) and Theo Baker (Infinite Contact)! Come on out for cozy soup, conversation, and some tunes. All proceeds go to Wave Farm’s WGXC 90.7-FM.

Each Thursday night January through May, Left Bank Ciders hosts Community Soup Night, where volunteers make soup with proceeds benefiting a local non-profit. Quatuor Van Kuijk and harpist Parker Ramsay visit PS21 with a program of impressionistic works by French composers Debussy, Fauré, and Caplet paired with Nico Muhly and Alice Goodman’s The Street, a set of meditations commissioned by Ramsay for solo harp. Representatives of the next generation of classical musicians, the internationally celebrated French string quartet and American harpist bring their sense of discovery to classic works of the belle époque and to the music of today.
