The Claverack Free Library annual spring book and plant sale with thousands of of gently used fiction and non-fiction titles and children’s books. A special preview reception will be held on Friday, May 12 from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. Buyers will enjoy refreshments and have first choice of all books at early-bird pricing. The book sale runs on Saturday from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. and Sunday from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. Featured at the sale on Saturday are live plants – vegetable, annuals and perennials – as well as an offering of high-quality gardening and landscape design books. Luncheon and homemade baked goods are served on Saturday, along with free activities for children. The newly organized Friends of the Claverack Library will give tours of the new Claverack Library and community center next door.
