Our General Reading Book Group meets one Wednesday a month and is reading Love and Ruin by Paula McLain. Named one of the Best Books of the Year by the Washington Post, the novel is the story of Martha Gellhorn, a war correspondent during the Spanish Civil War and the third wife of Ernest Hemingway. This group covers fiction and nonfiction and is facilitated by long-time member of the Friends of the Hudson Area Library, Sharon Getty.
