Music from around the world is featured. Bringing the audience into the realm of other cultures through music, hopefully expanding empathy for the “other,” and recognizing that “other” in ourselves. From WGDR, Goddard College Plainfield, VT. wgdr.org/. One of the great bands out of Benin West Africa is T.P. Orchestre Poly Rythmo de Cotonou. We featured music by them in the past but recently some of the very early albums have been re-releaased on vinyl and we sample some of that music today.
