Robert Miller discusses "The Black Chronicle," his journalist look at African-American history, with a companion radio show that debuted May 26 on WGXC. Miller discussed the show from the WGXC Acra studio. Jack Sencabaugh, a lifelong resident of Catskill, debuted his Greene County history radio show "Backtracks in Time" on WGXC May 24, and this show will tune in an excerpt of that discussion about the railroads that served Catskill and the mountains in the late 1800s and early 1900s – the Catskill Mountain Railway, Otis Elevating Railway, and Catskill & Tannersville Railway – that helped to establish Catskill’s reputation as the gateway between the river and the mountains. The band Pigeons, from Hillsdale, provides the Song of the Day.
