Shortwave radio enthusiast John J. Zimmerman and his son, long-time Wave Farm collaborator Bryan Zimmerman, are on-site to finalize the studio installation of a National HRO-60 Shortwave Receiver donated by artist Charles Lindsay. This new studio tool and audio source will be featured in today's Saturday Afternoon Show broadcast.
This show is similar to the weekday "WGXC Afternoon Show," but focused on transmission art. Saturday afternoons on WGXC feature Wave Farm Artists-in-Residence, and special guests, who are interviewed on-air, present past and future projects, as well as perform live.
