First, Everything Is Real Radio host Sam Sebren will be joined by guests Jill Sutton and Cory McCasland for a tribute to the dark rock sounds of early '80's NYC band Of A Mesh. OAM were among a handful of NYC bands that were creating unique music in the vein of artists such as UK's Bauhaus and Sisters of Mercy. OAM featured vocals by Alan Dollgener, electric violin by Samara Lubelski, and guitar by Ellen Watkins. Greg Kostroff on bass and Osamu on drums rounded out the lineup heard on their 1987 EP "Broken". EIRR will feature music from "Broken", from their first EP "Of A Mesh", from Dollgener's post OAM project "Reverb Sleep", and other OAM singles, plus later projects from Watkins and Lubelski. Then, tune in at 10pm for even more great goth rarities, as Sebren joins Sutton and McCasland on their program,Rock and Roll Martian, for a variety of other sounds from the dark side on this 4 hour holiday special, for those who prefer something different.
