As president of Intelligent Music from 1983-1994, he was responsible for the development and publication of a wide range of innovative and historically important software, including M and Max. Chadabe is currently Professor Emeritus at State University of New York at Albany; Visiting Faculty at New York University; and Founder and President of Electronic Music Foundation, a not-for-profit organization.
