In this broadcast, hosts Carline Murphy and Azouke Legba welcome spoken-word poet, dancer, and playwright, Marc Bamuthi Joseph in the second hour, during The Turning Point segment. Joseph is recognized as one of the most vital voices in performance, arts education, and artistic curation in the world today. He is currently the Chief of Program and Pedagogy at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, and the former Artistic Director at The Living Word Project. In 2017, Joseph was a TEDGlobal Fellow, and participated in the BAM Next Wave Festival, Life is Living Festival and Create Justice Forum. Li Le, Li Tan is a Creole Language radio program meaning "it’s the time, it’s the hour," for everyone to come together toward human development. Its mission is to promote Haitian language, music, arts and culture; to bring awareness and to discuss Haiti’s history and its relevance to today’s world; to share news on current events happening here in the counties and in Haiti, and to support efforts to rebuild Haiti.
