This month’s guest of Poet Ray’d Yo is the Canadian media artist David Jhave Johnston (Jhave), who has most recently published Rerites, a twelve-volume collection of poetry created in conjunction with Artificial Intelligence programming. Jhave is the author of Aesthetic Animism (MIT Press) and produced MUPS: Penn Sound, which enables users to create mash-ups of poems included in the Penn Sound archive.

Blending words and sounds, bringing to the airwaves live performances as well as field and studio recordings by writers the host has crossed paths with over the course of a quarter century.
