The Nearest Faraway Place aired on WGXC from August 2016 to November 2019.
Co-hosts Pat Linnan and Christian Hayes visit the world of audio through known and lesser-known music and bytes of sound. Talking kept at a minimum. Pat Linnan is a songwriter based out of Hudson, NY. His band, Nature Films (with Louis Munroe), released its third full-length album on Sueno Sounds. He has also released music as Wet Spell, jack's empty hours, and Moose Knuckle Luke.
