An interview with Hudson-Valley based drummer and composer Jeff “Seige” Siegel live in the Hudson studio. The interview will center on his new release “King of Xhosa” that will be celebrated at the Rosendale Cafe in Rosendale, NY on Saturday, January 21 at 8pm and his participation in the International Association of Schools of Jazz and performance at the Grahamstown Jazz Festival in South Africa. Siegel is a veteran of the New York Jazz scene and has worked with a virtual "who's who" of artists. His diverse career has led him to perform and/or record with legends such as Ron Carter, Kenny Burrell, Jack DeJohnette and Sheila Jordan and in the avant-garde world with Wadada Leo Smith, Baikida Carroll and Esa Pietila.
