This week, "Nuestra Música" presents songs and songwriters rarely presented on the show: jazz from the 30s with guitar extraordinaire Oscar Aleman, some nostalgic duos from the 60's, choral work from Orfeon Santiago from Cuba to Cuarteto Zupay from Argentina, fun rock and roll with "Straitjackets" and Vox Dei, native music from the coastal provinces of Argentina and Uruguay, and much more.

“Nuestra Música,” “Our Music,” presents the rhythms and folklore of Latin America, Spain, Portugal and Cape Verde. From Tango to Flamenco and all Latinx music in between. The show explores the native instruments, languages and traditions played in 22 countries and one territory. Other than Spanish and Portuguese, Nuestra Música presents songs in Quechua, Mapuche, Guaraní, Nahuatl, Gallego, Spanish Basque, and Catalán. Among many styles we present: Tango, Chacarera, Baguala, Zamba with a Z and Samba with and S, Bossa Nova, Cumbia, Llanero, Vallenato, Merengue, Parrandera, Son, Bolero, Ranchera, Corrido, Marimba, Fado, Flamenco, Sevillanas, Jota, Blues, Jazz, Danzon, Mambo and many more.
