Blending words and sounds, bringing to the airwaves live performances as well as field and studio recordings by writers the host has crossed paths with over the course of a quarter century. New work by Michael Joyce comes to the fore in this month’s edition of Poet Ray’d Yo. Joyce, a novelist known worldwide for his work with hypertext fiction, has in recent years published three books of poetry, including his 2017 collection, Hagiography of Heaven and Vicinity, which is featured on the program.
